Family violence prevention advocate Kym Valentine is urging state and territory governments to reform alcohol delivery laws to better protect those at risk of domestic violence.

South Australia is taking the lead with proposed legislation that would limit online alcohol deliveries to between 10 am and 10 pm, and introduce a two‑hour pause between order and delivery. All states and territories have committed to reviewing their liquor laws, with Valentine emphasising the urgency: “Lives actually depend on you fulfilling the promise that you made.”
